Screening ideas?
The notion of an idea is, traditionally, that it’s a belief, thought or impression that could lead to a possible action. We agree. However, it’s really interesting to turn the process around, thus letting impressions, thoughts and beliefs turn into ideas.
We are constantly fed with input, news, trends, breakthroughs and evolutions. Have a look at these, dissect them, turn them around, find common denominators or locate intersections – chances are, you’ll see something new.
Working with idea generation, it’s an essential prerequisite to excel in the fine art of limitation. Or, put in another way, to be able to qualify. At Fourmation, we qualify our ideas very early in the process, meaning we’ll terminate most ideas that don’t meet the following criteria. New ideas must;
- Create significant value
- Meet a significant need
- Solve a significant problem
- Have a global potential
- Have a (relatively) short time to market
If an idea meets our screening criteria, we’ll get ready for takeoff.
Current projects?
Even though a few of our projects are about to leave our hangar, we are still in stealth-mode, meaning we can’t reveal too much. Yet. However, we would like to share a few hints on what we could be working on:
- What if the sum of your online social activity would make even more sense?
- How can you easily give someone a symbolic gift that’ll surely spread joy and wonder?
We already have a handful of applications and ideas in the pipeline. They are currently in stealth mode but as soon as they are ready to go into alpha or beta, we will share it with you right here.
